Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 October 2026
Wallace’s Web is a children’s illustrated story and colouring app, written and created by Emma J Reid and published by ER Colouring Books. We aim to protect the privacy of children and families who use the app.
1. Information collected by the app
We do not ask users to register or provide names, email addresses, dates of birth, addresses or other personal details to use Wallace’s Web. The app does not intentionally collect personal information, use behavioural advertising or include our own user analytics.
2. Colouring and saved pictures
Colouring progress and drawings are stored locally on the user’s device so they can be reopened and edited. These saved colouring files are not uploaded to us. A user can clear an individual colouring page within the app. Uninstalling the app may remove local colouring data.
3. Story narration
Story narration uses audio files provided within the app. Listening to the story does not require users to submit voice recordings or personal details to us.
4. Advertising and tracking
The app does not contain third-party advertising networks or intentionally track children across apps or websites. It may display information about other Wallace’s Web stories and books.
5. Optional in-app purchases
The original Wallace’s Web story is free. Future adventures may be offered as optional one-time purchases through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Payments are processed by Apple, not ER Colouring Books. We do not receive or store payment-card details. Apple’s own privacy terms apply to its services.
6. External links
The app may link to this website, support information or a place to learn about the paperback. External websites may have different privacy practices. Adults should supervise children when following external links.
7. Website information
This website does not use advertising trackers or deliberately set analytics cookies. However, the website hosting provider may automatically process technical information, such as IP addresses and server access logs, to operate and secure the website. If you choose to email us, we use the information you provide to reply to your enquiry.
8. Changes
We may update this policy if app features or privacy practices change. The date at the top will show when it was last revised.
